Problems are everywhere and they do not go away; rather they have a habit of expanding unless dealt with effectively. Creative problem solving is a great asset. The way one perceives a problem and considers it an opportunity rather than hassle is creative problem solving.
Our creative problem solving training course aims to train participants on effective approaches to problem solving that have proven to be successful in producing improvements in efficiency, performance, and productivity.
On completion, participants will be able to:
(a) Demonstrate their creative and innovative skills and knowledge.
(b) Practice element of parallel thinking as an alternative to conventional thinking.
(c) Apply systematic method in identifying sources of creativity & innovation in solving a problem.
(d) Promote & support innovation in their groups, teams and organizations.
(e) Understand how their behavior and that of their peers encourages or stifles innovation.
(f) Apply the creativity tools and techniques that they learnt into their work place and personal lives.
The training modules have been designed to encourage participant engagement through the use of case study material, interviews, reflective questions and hands-on exercises. The aim is to deliver an accessible amount of key academic principles whilst relating these to the practice of management. In pursuit of this aim, the main content of the training text and material has been divided into six distinct modules.
Module 1: Creativity and Innovation: An Introduction.
Module 2: Creative Thinking and Ideas.
Module 3: Determinants of Creativity and Innovation.
Module 4: Creativity Blocks: Challenges to Creativity.
Module 5: Creative Problem Solving Workshop.
Module 6: Acquiring and Enhancing Creativity through Learning and Practice.
All modules will be run as interactive workshops with a high degree of participation and group exercises.
The time duration for this module can be customized according to the training need analysis and requirement of clients.
