Being assertive or firm about one’s own belief and being able to stand up for own rights are quite essential. Saying no for wrong things without being aggressive is one of the most important skills required in workplace to give voice to your own opinions.
Our assertiveness skills development training course aims to help the participants learn the skill of being confident about their own opinions and beliefs so that their voice does not get diminished in crowd of others.
After undertaking this training program, participants will be able to:
(a) Learn what assertiveness skills are?
(b) Understand how these skills help in workplace settings.
(c) Develop skills to express one’s thoughts, feelings and beliefs.
(d) Know the difference between passive, aggressive and assertive behavior.
(e) Learn how to address conflict situations in acceptable ways.
The training modules are designed to make participants learn the importance of being assertive and also learn the techniques and tips to enhance their way of communicating for maximum output.
In pursuit of this aim, the main content of the training text and material has been divided in to four distinct modules.
Module 1: Understanding what assertiveness skills are
Module 2: Learning how these skills help in organizational settings
Module 3: Learning techniques to develop assertiveness skills
Module 4: Learning to say NO in a more acceptable manner
All modules will be run as interactive workshops with a high degree of participation and group exercises.
The time duration for this module can be customized according to the training need analysis and requirement of clients.
